Analyst


Precision Corporate Finance is currently looking to recruit a Graduate Research Analyst, and are seeking someone looking to forge a long-term career in corporate finance. Applicants require a minimum 2:1 from a top University and must be willing to work in Milton Keynes.

Total package of £32,000 -£47,000 per annum comprising with a significant annual salary increase based on performance. The total package would also include a bonus of up to 40% of basic salary for years one and two (based on achievable target), guaranteed bonus of 40% of basic salary for year three rising to 80% based upon performance.

A fundamental part of the process for selling a business is the industry and potential purchaser research undertaken by the Research Analyst. The job entails working on set projects which will involve researching a client specific industry, to gather a complete list of potential purchasers for the clients business, utilising desktop search engines and £40,000 worth of in house research tools.

Once the list of potential purchasers has been gathered, the next step will be speaking with the correct individual within each organisation in order to ascertain the answers to a number of key questions regarding their acquisition strategy.

The research undertaken by the Analyst is delivered back to the client in a meeting setting. You will be a part of the Precision Corporate Finance team, led by a Partner or Deal Leader, which takes this report back to clients for presentation and discussion.

The successful applicant will work directly with clients and the Deal Leader gaining excellent experience of dealing with board level individuals from the outset. The successful candidate will be comfortable dealing with people on the telephone and getting through to senior people to find information.

The successful candidate will be professional, well presented and conscientious with good attention to detail and the ability to think fast and meet deadlines. Experience in research is essential, however corporate finance experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be given. A good and professional telephone manner is essential, as is the willingness to pick up the phone.

Corporate Finance Executive/Associate

Precision Corporate Finance is currently looking to recruit a recently qualified Accountant. We are seeking someone who has achieved first time passes, and ideally has 1-2 years experience working in corporate finance; in due diligence or lead advisory.

The successful candidate will receive full training and could be fast tracked to equity partnership if they meet expectations.

The salary and benefits package for this position are negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
