Our portfolio review service is designed for PLC clients and larger privately owned businesses. It is essentially a grooming the business for sale service for a Company that has a number of non-core subsidiaries that it wishes to dispose of. When we are engaged to perform a portfolio review we will perform the following tasks:

• Analyse each individual business to assess potential purchaser appetite;
• Analyse groupings of the businesses and ascertain if there is potential purchaser appetite for these groupings;
• Analyse appetite for all of the subsidiaries (possible from Venture Capital houses);
• Value the businesses alone, in our chosen grouping and as a whole.

The resulting report will help our client to make an informed decision about whether to sell the businesses. It will also provide useful information about the market and any changes that could be made to the businesses to make them more saleable for an eventual exit.
